PETA has crowned its Most Beautiful Vegan Celebrities for 2023 – with Bella Ramsey and Halle Bailey scooping the prestigious accolade.

Every summer, the vegan charity announces who will win a spot on it coveted list, which includes names like Jessie J, Lenny Kravitz, and Billie Eilish among others.

Both Bella and Halle are breakout roles, both rising to prominence in recent times, thanks to prestigious acting roles.

Bella Ramsey, who played Lady Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones, is best known for their role as Ellie in the HBO drama series The Last of Us.

They are set to star in the highly anticipated sequel to the stop-motion animal rights classic Chicken Run

Meanwhile, Halle sings alongside her sister in the musical duo Chloe x Halle, and is best known for starring as Ariel in Disney’s new live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

Bella Ramsey and Halle Bailey – ‘stunning inside and out’

Speaking about why they ditched animal products, Bella cited animals and the planet.

They said: “I’m vegan primarily because I love animals. But I also, like most of us, care about the planet. The environmental benefits of going vegan are so significant.”

And Halle described animals as ‘friends’ during an interview at the Met Gala. When a reporter asked whether she would eat Sebastian or Flounder (characters in The Little Mermaid), the actor appeared shocked.

She said: “I would not eat either of them! They’re my friends.”

Speaking about their inclusion on the list, PETA Vice President of Programmes Elisa Allen described the actors as inspiring.

She said: “Bella Ramsey and Halle Bailey remind everyone to save who you can save by keeping animals off your plate, both on land and under the sea.

PETA’s Most Beautiful Vegans of 2023 are stunning inside and out and will undoubtedly be shining inspirations to their legions of fans.”
