Stella McCartney is launching a range of refillable vegan skincare products.

The fashion designer has revealed her new brand range STELLA – using ‘incredible natural active ingredients’ such as Organic Rock Samphire, Biotechnological Lingonberry Extract, Wild Organic Birch Sap, and Wild Harvested Dulse Algae Extract.

The entire line also has a ‘High Cliff’ scent created in collaboration with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian – inspired by Stella’s affinity with the Scottish landscape and early memories of her childhood.

STELLA only consists of three essential items, based on the philosophy of using ‘only what you need’.

This includes a 2-in-1 Reset Cleanser that ‘melts away makeup and impurities’, an Alter-Care Serum to ‘visibly improve tone and texture’, and a Restore Cream that vows to reduce lines and wrinkles within a month. Refillable prices start from £38.

‘Effective and responsible’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Stella said: “The line-up is a culmination of two years’ worth of innovation and exploration with LVHM’s research and development teams.

“We set out with an idea, and because we didn’t want to compromise – on results, the origin of our ingredients, and ensuring we minimised our impact on Mother Earth – we kept on trying.”

She adds: “Constantly evolving and aiming for what I felt was possible: rooted in nature, truly effective and responsible skincare. I believe the consumer needs to know there’s another way, that they have a choice”.

*The collection will be available online as well as at the Stella McCartney UK flagship store on Old Bond Street
