A vegan chocolate brand that was created by a relative of confectionery giant John Cadbury has extended its offering with three new sharing pouches.

H!P, which was founded by John’s great-great-great grandson James Cadbury, has brought out a trio of bite-sized oat milk chocolate delicacies in three flavours.

The new options include Caramel Crunch Peanuts, Peanut Butter Truffle Bites and Creamy & Smooth Buttons.

According to H!P, not only are its products vegan-friendly, but they have a 50 per cent lower carbon footprint than chocolate made with cow’s milk.

In addition, they are wrapped in home-recyclable packaging, making them more eco-friendly.

H!P’s new sharing pouches

According to H!P, which describes its vegan products as a ‘firm favourite with Gen Zers and millennials up and down the country’, it offers ‘a deliciously creamy oat-based alternative to milk chocolate’.

Its chocolate is made from sustainably sourced single origin Colombian cocoa blended with the dairy milk alternative.

The new pouches, which are available from its website now, come in three flavours.

Caramel Crunch Peanuts (RSP £3.00 per 90g pouch) boasts peanuts coated with a sweet and caramel oat milk chocolate shell.

Its Creamy & Smooth Chocolate Buttons (RSP £3.00 per 90g pouch) offer a dairy-free alternative to classic chocolate buttons.

Meanwhile, the Peanut Butter Truffle Bites (RSP £3.50 per 80g pouch) feature bite-size oat milk chocolate truffles with a creamy peanut butter filling.

‘A huge hit with H!P fans’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, brand founder James Cadbury said: “Introducing these sharing pouches gives vegans and flexitarians greater choice when it comes to their dairy-free chocolate snacking.

“We believe they’ll be a huge hit with H!P fans up and down the country, as well as attracting new followers to the brand.

“Our success is testament to the enduring popularity of oat milk, which we believe not only tastes as good as traditional dairy milk, but is also far more sustainable to produce.”

The sharing pouches are available to purchase via H!P’s website now, and will roll into Selfridges and Whole Foods later this month. Prices start at £3 per pouch.
