With less than 3 months until Christmas, Morrisons has given us a first look at its vegan Christmas range for 2023.

The supermarket range features nine festive products, and four of them are new for 2023. From starters to dessert, Morrisons’ vegan Christmas range promises to cover all bases to ensure your Christmas runs smoothly.

In a statement, Morrisons shared that its “team of chefs and product developers have been busy creating, tasting – and tasting again – to make every product perfect this year.”

Vegan Christmas canapés and starters

To kick off the festive celebrations Morrisons has launched a range of exciting new canapés and starters.

Returning for another Christmas, Plant Revolution’s Vegan Mushroom Pâté (£3.99) is a sharing pot of rich oven-roasted mushroom pâté. Made with dried porcini mushrooms and seasoned with garlic, thyme and smoked paprika, each bite is bursting with flavour.

Best served smothered on crusty bread for a gorgeous festive starter, there’s enough to serve four hungry people.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a selection of cheeses to nibble on! This year, Morrisons has put together a tantalising selection of vegan cheeses in its Plant Revolution Say Cheeze! Board which is available in stores now.

Priced at £6, flavours include Mature Cheddar, Wensleydale with Cranberries, Cheddar with Jalapeño & Chilli, and Cheddar with Garlic & Chives.

Vegan Christmas mains

This year, Morrisons’ vegan Christmas range is offering three different meat-free mains to ensure everyone finds the perfect one for them.

First up is the Plant Revolution Roast No Turkey Crown (£6.00, serves 3-4 people) which is heading to stores on the 18th of December.

This golden vegan turkey crown is made of wheat, soy and pea protein to give it a realistic taste and texture. It’s topped with parsley and sage vegan butter melt and finished with a horseradish and herb crumb.

Next is the Plant Revolution Vegetable Wellington which is a true celebration of vegetables. A vegan twist on a classic British dish it’s filled with seasoned butternut squash, parsnip, mushrooms and soya protein and topped with mushroom duxelles.

It’s encased with flaky and golden pastry and is coming to stores just in time for Christmas on the 18th of December priced at a wallet-friendly £7.

The final showstopping main from the supermarket is the Plant Revolution Mushroom, Cranberry & Chestnut Roast – a classic vegan main that’s bursting with texture and festive flavours.

A mix of savoury yet sweet, it’s filled with crunchy chestnuts for the ultimate festive crunch and is best served with lots of gravy.

You can find this in stores from the 15th of November priced at £3.49 for 400g roast.

Vegan sides dishes

Christmas dinner isn’t complete without lashings of gravy to accompany your vegan roast, and the rich Plant Revolution Onion Gravy with onion and thyme is perfect for pairing with the Vegetable Wellington.

You can find the vegan gravy in stores from 27th November priced at £2.49 for 350g.

Vegan Christmas desserts

Who can resist an indulgent vegan dessert during the holidays? We sure can’t!

Fans of Morrisons’ vegan trifle will be pleased to hear that it will be making a return in 2023 after it proved a hit with customers last Christmas.

The Best Vegan Trifle is the ultimate fruity treat this Christmas, featuring layers of rich strawberry compote, atop a light as air sponge cake with lashings of creamy Madagascan vegan custard.

Priced at £7, it’s available in store from December 15th.

Nothing says Christmas like a warm mince pie and a glass of mulled wine!

This year, everyone can enjoy this traditional treat as Morrisons is offering two vegan and gluten-free versions in its Christmas range.

Up first are the classic Free From 4 Mince Pies with rich and fruity mincemeat encased in a sweet pastry shell. They’re finished with a light dusting of sugar to give them a dash of festive cheer.

You’ll find these in stores now in packs of 4 priced at £2.00

If you’re looking for something a little bit different, try the Free From Festive Crumble Mince Pies (£2.25).

Topped with a warming spiced crumble, they’re rich and fruit – just like a good mince pie should be.

When is Morrisons’ vegan Christmas range available?

Morrisons has staggered the release days for its vegan Christmas range.

Shoppers can find the mince pies and cheese board in stores now, but the rest of the range will be available from mid-November onwards.
