Aldi unveils its budget vegan Christmas range for 2023 packed with affordable dishes the whole family will love.

Aldi’s budget-friendly vegan Christmas range has returned for 2023 and it includes everything you need for a festive feast, from party food to mains and decadent puds.

According to the supermarket, this is its biggest and most affordable vegan festive range to date.

Vegan Christmas canapés

To take the stress out of hosting, Aldi has launched a selection of exciting products fit for a festive get-together.

New for 2023, the Plant Menu Southern Fried No Chicken Stars are the perfect canapé packing a meat-free meaty punch.

For an Asian twist, serve up No Duck Spring Rolls with a flavoursome hoisin sauce for dipping. Your guests won’t be able to get enough!

Alternatively, the No Chilli Cheese Bites are the perfect crowd-pleasing nibble for all ages.

Finally, wow your guests with Aldi’s new No Tempura Prawns which feature meat-free prawns made from pea protein coated in a crispy tempura batter.

Vegan Christmas mains

Forget spending hours making elaborate vegan roasts, this year you can sit back and relax and let Aldi do the hard work for you with it’s impressive meat-free mains.

Back by popular demand is the supermarket’s Specially Selected No Beef Wellington. The plant-based centrepiece is made from a beef-style soya mixture and coated in creamy mushroom duxelles and wrapped in a flaky puff pastry lattice casing.

Another favourite returning in 2023 is the Plant Menu No Turkey Roast with Vegan Bacon Crumb, a festive showstopper comprising of a soya-based roast filled with jewelled cranberry and chestnut stuffing. The No Turkey Roast is topped with a smoky vegan bacon crumb, making it a great dish to serve for households catering to both vegans and meat-eaters alike.

Next up is Aldi’s award-winning Specially Selected Vegan Festive Wreath, the perfect dish for those who prefer veggies to meat-alternatives. Bursting with butternut squash, chestnuts, and pumpkin seeds, it’s finished with elegant orange slices, rosemary sprigs, candied orange slices and a mulled festive glaze.

Vegan Christmas sides

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without pigs in blankets, and you can complete your festive feast with Aldi’s Plant Menu No Pigs in Blankets.

Made with Aldi’s award-winning succulent Ultimate No Pork Sausages and wrapped in smoky vegan bacon, these are sure to win over even the biggest meat eaters.

You don’t even have to worry about making your side dishes because Aldi has got your covered with its Vegetable and Potato Rostis and Celeriac and Broccoli Vegetable Bake.

The rostis are available in two delicious flavours, including tasty sweet potato and butternut squash rosti with mixed vegetables and a fresh pesto centre. Alternatively, try the carrot, beetroot and broccoli rosti with mixed vegetables and a creamy melting centre.

Another must-try side this Christmas is the Celeriac and Broccoli Vegetable Bake filled with an oozy leek sauce and topped with roasted sliced potato and a crunchy crumb.

Vegan Christmas desserts

For the first time ever, Aldi is releasing a festive vegan dessert in the form of the brand-new Vegan Cookie Pot.

This luscious dessert is a chocolate lover’s dream with chocolate flavoured cookie biscuit, topped with a layer of decadent Belgian chocolate ganache.

If you’ve still got room after all this delicious food, Aldi has some scrumptious vegan chocolate truffles to nibble on after dinner.

Returning for 2023 are Aldi’s Moser Roth Vegan Truffles (£3.99), available in two mouth-watering flavours – salted caramel and rich caramelised biscuit flavour.
