Violife has launched a new vegan cheese into a major UK retailer.
The dairy-free giant has debuted a garlic and herb spread, made from coconut oil, as part of its Creamy range.
It says the new product has been ‘reformulated’ to be creamier than its previous spreads.
Violife cream cheese – where to buy
The new vegan cream cheese launched into Sainsbury’s stores across the UK this week, priced at £2.75 per tub.
Fortified with B12, the dairy-free cheese is non-GMO and free-from preservatives.
It is also free from the most common allergens such as soy, nuts, dairy, and gluten.

‘Delicious twists’
“We want to help show consumers that eating a more plant-based diet doesn’t mean you have to give up your favourite recipes,” said Violife’s Jess Millner.
“Instead, it’s about ‘adding’ to your diet and enjoying simple and delicious twists to your favourite dishes.”
Millner also teased that the brand has an ‘exciting new product pipeline in the works’ but didn’t give away any specifics.
Could this new product pipeline be related to Violife’s new Cheddarton – a tangy, cheddar-like vegan cheese block – that has been spotted in Sainsbury’s and Tesco stores recently? Watch this space for updates.
