Philadelphia has debuted two new flavours of vegan cream cheese.
The dairy giant previously trialled its Original plant-based spread in regional markets and saw repeat purchases almost double versus the category average.
In fact, a whopping 70 percent of purchasers said the product exceeded their expectations.
Philadelphia vegan cream cheese – new flavours
Thanks to the successful trial, two new best-selling flavours are being added to the nationwide launch across the US: Strawberry and Chive and Onion.
The sweet strawberry flavour is the perfect mix of fruity flavours and cooling cream cheese and is delicious spread on toast or dolloped on desserts.
The aromatic Chive & Onion spread is a temptingly savoury cheese that is irresistible served with crackers.
The new vegan spreads will be available in major retailers across the US, including Target.
However, specific details on price and ingredients are yet to be confirmed.

‘Widespread accessibility’
“To be the first mainstream cream cheese brand launching a plant-based spread option with widespread accessibility across the U.S. is an important milestone for Philadelphia and our fans,” said Keenan White of Philadelphia.
“Whether on their morning bagel, a veggie pairing for lunch or a delicious dip creation for snack time… We’re proud to provide consumers with a delicious product that fits their lifestyle.”
