- 1 1 slices bread from a 400g loaf
- 0.5 0.5 Tbsp tomato purée
- 0.25 0.25 tsp dried oregano
- 25 25 g dairy-free cheese, cut into thin slices
- black olives, sliced into rings
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. Lightly toast the sliced bread.
- Arrange the toast on a baking sheet and spread each one with a little tomato purée. Sprinkle over the oregano.
- Arrange the cheese slices over the tomato purée to resemble bandages and add olive slices to make the ‘eyes’.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, until piping hot. Serve hot or cold.
