Ingredients

Method

Ingredients

(Servings: 10)

  • 0.075 0.075 Cup Tahini or any other nut butter
  • 0.2 0.2 Tbsp Maple syrup or any other liquid sweetener e.g agave syrup
  • 0.3 0.3 Tbsp Coconut flour
  • 10 10 g Dark chocolate
  • 0.1 0.1 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

Method

1. In a medium bowl combine tahini with maple syrup.
2. Stir in coconut flour and salt. The dough should be thick but soft enough to mould the egg shape. (Similar to cookie dough). Add more coconut flour if needed but be careful not to add too much.
3. Use a tablespoon as a measurement to divide the mixture into balls and begin shaping each ball into an egg shape and place on a baking tray with parchment paper.
4. Transfer eggs into the freezer for 20 minutes or fridge for 40 minutes.
5. Just before you take the eggs out, begin melting the chocolate with coconut oil. Place the chopped up chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave on a low setting and microwave it in 20-second increments stirring in between until melted. Alternatively, melt on the stovetop in a small pot.
6. Remove eggs from the freezer and dunk in the chocolate, making sure the whole egg is covered and place back on the tray.
7. Transfer back into the freezer for 5 minutes to set and go back over the eggs with the drizzle and place back in the freezer for a few minutes.
8. Once the chocolate is set, take the eggs out and enjoy!
