Swiss chocolatier Lindt says the new vegan oat milk Lindor truffles are the ‘perfect chocolate indulgence’ for customers wanting dairy-free options

Lindt has expanded its vegan range with two new Lindor chocolate truffles.

The Swiss chocolatier has reformulated its iconic Lindor bonbons using oat milk to give them the same melt-in-the-mouth texture.

Priced at $6.29 (£5.14) for a 5.10z bag, the new treats are available in both dark chocolate and ‘milk’ chocolate flavours.

‘A premium chocolate experience’

“Using plant-based milk, these Lindt LINDOR truffles give you the same smooth, melting chocolate experience in a finely crafted premium oat milk chocolate shell,” the brand said.

“These chocolate candy truffles are the perfect chocolate indulgence for those who do not consume dairy products but still crave a premium chocolate experience.

“Each plant-based, non-dairy chocolate truffle is made with premium ingredients, including the finest cocoa and gluten-free oats.”

Where to buy vegan Lindor truffles

Slated for a nationwide release in the US, dairy-free chocolate lovers can find them nationwide in stores such as CVS Pharmacy and Albertsons/Safeway stores, with additional stores expected to be announced soon.

Vegan Food & Living has contacted the company to confirm which stores will be stocking the new vegan Lindor chocolates.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on them, they are available to purchase on Lindt’s website website in 5.1-ounce bags and in cases of 800 truffles.

In the UK, they are available to purchase online via the Chocolate Emporium website.

Vegan chocolate from Lindt

Lindt entered the plant-based market back in 2020 after releasing a line of dairy-free bars in Europe.

The Lindt oat-milk bars debuted in three flavours: Cookie, Hazelnut, and Salted Caramel – and are encased in a 100 percent recyclable packaging.

Lindt says it took a ‘no comprise approach’ to the vegan offerings, vowing they provide the ‘same taste sensation’ as its dairy offerings.

Article updated on October 17th to include information about UK stockists.
