Billie Eilish is opening a fully vegan restaurant – Argento – in Silverlake, Los Angeles. Here’s what you can expect from the menu…
Pop sensations Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell are opening a fully vegan restaurant, Argento.
The award-winning siblings, along with acclaimed restaurateur Nic Adler, are on track to open the Italian eatery next month.
Located in Silverlake, Los Angeles, the eatery will open in the former space of Moby’s plant-based restaurant Pine – which closed its doors for good back in 2022.

Speaking to Los Angeles Magazine, Eilish revealed the aim of the restaurant is to make plant-based food ‘more accessible’.
“What’s really cool about Argento and Crossroads, and Donut Friend, is that they’re not branded as ‘vegan’,” the star added.
“Vegan is for everyone. You don’t have to be vegan to eat vegan. The world is much better than it was. Ten years ago there was nothing vegan anywhere, and now it’s so much more universal.”

Argento – what’s on the menu
Although specific details of Argento’s first-ever menu has yet to be confirmed, it will focus on whole foods rather than mimicking meat through processed foods.
Therefore, foods such as vegetables, nuts, seeds, fruits, and herbs, will take centre stage to create ‘fresh , beautiful, and delicious’ Mediterranean fare.
“We have somehow got away from vegetables,” Adler explained. “Let’s let eggplant have its moment.”
Locally sourced vegan cheese will also feature on the menu, along with ‘natural wines’. And, top bartender Jason Eisner will be creating a ‘global, organic and biodynamic’ list of drinks.
‘Horrendous’ animal ag
Eilish went vegan when she was just 12 years old, and often uses her platform to advocate plant-based eating – from modelling Gucci’s latest faux leather bag to helping feed the hungry in LA.
Earlier this year, while performing at Power our Planet, the star was asked what everybody needs to know about climate change.
“For me, the most important thing you can do us changing what’s on your plate and what you’re eating – to try and end animal agriculture,” the singer replied.
“Eating a more plant-based diet is really really important. I mean, you have no idea how absolutely horrendous it is for the environment.”
