Sascha Camilli
Sascha left the fashion industry to work in veganism and animal rights in 2015, and has never looked back.
After feeling like a hypocrite for dedicating herself to an industry that was killing animals, she decided to use her skills to promote vegan fashion instead – and it was the best decision she’s ever made, along with actually going vegan of course.
Sascha was the founder of the world’s first digital vegan fashion magazine, VILDA.
Following on from this, she has also published her first book, Vegan Style, which won the Essential Reading award in the 2019 PETA Fashion Awards.
As well as Vegan Food & Living, Sascha has written for Eco Warrior Princess, Nourish, Plant-Based News, Huffington Post, Immaculate Vegan and been featured in VOGUE, Grazia, Sydney Morning Herald, Red Magazine and GLAMOUR.
Talking about her vegan writing, Sascha explains, “Doing the work I do makes me feel inspired every day – nothing is like having a sense of purpose. Someone once told me, ‘your morning coffee tastes better when you do what you love’, and I agree!”
