Pamela Anderson has announced she is launching a vegan cookbook titled I Love You: Recipes from the Heart.
The actor and animal welfare campaigner, who is known for working with charity PETA as well as other advocacy organisations, announced the news on Instagram.
In a post on the platform, she revealed that the cookbook had started life in an organic way, and that it had started as a family project, before growing from there.
In the post’s caption, she wrote: “Today, I’m thrilled to share with you all a labour of love.
“What started out as a housewarming gift for my boys – a box of recipe cards, simply titled ‘I LOVE YOU’… grew into a project that encapsulates all our favourite things.

“A lifestyle cookbook; nothing fancy, just updated, plant-based family recipes; and entertaining with a humble kind of joy.
“It celebrates the magic of scenic settings where nature always has a proud seat at the table.
“I can’t wait for it to be in all of your homes, from our family to yours.”

Pamela’s new project comes as she is set to debut a cookery show on Food Network Canada this year.

The show will focus on the former Baywatch star’s love of vegan cooking, entertaining, and sustainability.
Titled Pamela’s Cooking with Love, the programme will be hosted by Pamela, and will also feature a range of chefs to help create plant-based meals.
A press release for the show released last year revealed: “Pamela sets the table for a one-of-a-kind dining experience in Pamela’s Cooking With Love (working title).
“In this new Corus Studios distributed series, Pamela is fuelled by a craving to learn more about cooking and how she can use food to take entertaining to the next level.
“She works with a variety of influential chefs to develop delicious plant-based menus, gather the diverse ingredients, and prepare incredible meals and moments for her friends and family.
“Whether it is a casual afternoon cocktail party in the garden, an intimate dinner with family, or breakfast following a night around the campfire – Pamela shines as a host and sous-chef.”
Pamela Anderson’s vegan cookbook, I Love You: Recipes from the heart, is expected to launch on October 15th 2024, and is available to pre-order via Amazon.
