Pamela Anderson has announced she is launching a vegan cookbook titled I Love You: Recipes from the Heart.

The actor and animal welfare campaigner, who is known for working with charity PETA as well as other advocacy organisations, announced the news on Instagram.

In a post on the platform, she revealed that the cookbook had started life in an organic way, and that it had started as a family project, before growing from there.

In the post’s caption, she wrote: “Today, I’m thrilled to share with you all a labour of love.

“What started out as a housewarming gift for my boys – a box of recipe cards, simply titled ‘I LOVE YOU’… grew into a project that encapsulates all our favourite things.

“It celebrates the magic of scenic settings where nature always has a proud seat at the table.

“I can’t wait for it to be in all of your homes, from our family to yours.”
