These vegan Oreo brownies are seriously delicious, but you don’t need to be a serious baker to make them!

Using ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen, or can grab from your nearest shop if you don’t, these brownies can be made in a few easy steps.

To make the batter, simply mix all of the ingredients (except the Oreos) together until smooth. You can do this using a blender, food processor, hand whisk, or a simple wooden spoon.

Then, mix in half of the broken Oreo cookies, pour the batter into a lined baking tray, and top with the remaining Oreos. You don’t need to worry about making a pretty pattern, these vegan Oreo brownies will always come out looking stunning.

Once the brownies are baked and cooled, lift them from the tray using the greaseproof paper, and slice up the brownies with a sharp knife.

The hardest part will be deciding who gets the crispy corner pieces!

Are Oreos vegan?

Oreos are widely considered an iconic accidentally vegan snack, and do not contain any animal products in their ingredients.

However, the manufacturers do not claim that they are vegan friendly, for reasons we explore in detail when we answer the question “Are Oreo’s vegan?

Some vegans also choose to avoid Oreos because of their use of palm oil, which is plant-based but can be harmful to animals and the environment when harvested irresponsibly.

If you prefer to avoid brand name Oreos, you can find intentionally vegan chocolate cookie alternatives to use in this vegan Oreo brownie recipe.
