Gü are well-known for their range of indulgent puddings and luxurious desserts and recently expanded their range to include a new line of free-from desserts, Gü Fabulously Free From, in three delicious flavours.

Now, just when we could all do with a tasty treat, the company has announced a new vegan flavour is joining the range in the form of  Free From Salted Caramel Cheesecakes, priced at £3.50 for a pack of two.

Available to purchase from select Sainsbury’s stores now, the decadent dessert pots are made with Indonesian coconut cream on a crunchy gluten-free biscuit base to give a delicious mix of textures and flavours.

Announcing the news on social media, Gü wrote: “WE’VE MADE IT TO FRIDAY AND WE DESERVE SOME GOOD NEWS….

“Introducing our brand new Free From Salted Caramel Cheesecakes! Now available in Sainsburys.”

The desserts come package in glass ramekins with a foil lid and a cardboard sleeve to make them plastic-free, and the ramekins can be reused again to make your own recreations of the desserts at home.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Gü Head Chef, Fred Ponnavoy, said: “Our Gü Salted Caramel Cheesecakes are one of our most popular puds, so we wanted to create a version which could be enjoyed by everyone.

“The new Fabulously Free From Salted Caramel Cheesecakes have been created with the same irresistible flavour in every spoonful, so that everyone can make time for Gü.”
