Iconic square chocolate brand Ritter Sport is making it easier for people to enjoy a sweet treat with its new vegan milk chocolate bar.
Following its successful launch in Germany last month, Ritter Sport’s Without Moo bar will be available to UK consumers this Veganuary.
Ritter will initially trial the Without Moo bar with its online UK audience to gauge interest in the product.
The brand is urging those who try it and love it to ‘shout about it from the roof tops’ to help them secure wider distribution in the future.
The new Without Moo chocolate bar will be available from January 1st via Ritter Sport’s website priced at £1.99.
Without Moo
Ritter’s supremely creamy Without Moo bar has proven to be a hit with German consumers.
The chocolate is made with cocoa mass, high-quality almond flour in place of milk, cocoa butter, and sugar.
“As a result, the variety tastes particularly mild and creamy, comparable to classic milk chocolate,” the company stated.
Katy Clark, Head of Marketing at Ritter Sport UK & IRE, said that the company was inspired to create a vegan milk chocolate bar after a survey of Veganuary participants revealed that “milk chocolate was the non-vegan product 18% of participants missed the most.”
According to Clark, the company has “spent a lot of time ensuring we deliver the milk chocolate taste our consumers want.

These include Marzipan; 74% Intense Dark Chocolate from Peru; single-origin 61% Fine Dark Chocolate from Nicaragua; and 50% Dark Chocolate.
Vegan chocolate fans will be pleased to hear that the vegan bars will be on offer for 3 for £5 this Veganuary.
