Swiss chocolatier Lindt has finally launched its new vegan milk chocolate bars in the UK.

Lindt has finally launched vegan milk chocolate in the UK after releasing the new bars in Germany earlier this year.

The new bars come in three tempting flavours: Cookie, Hazelnut, and Salted Caramel and are made with silky vegan oat-based chocolate. Moreover, they are encased in 100% recyclable packaging – vegan chocolate really is guilt-free!

A UK launch has been eagerly awaited by fans of the brand, and after the bars became available to buy at online vegan sweet shop Conscious Candy Co, they immediately sold out.

The online sweet shop had warned it’s customers to ‘grab a bar while you can because it’s sure to fly off the shelves’ and they were certainly correct!

Although the chocolate bars are currently out of stock on the website, Conscious Candy Co. has more on order and you can add your email to the waitlist on their website to be the first to hear when they’re back.

The company has also confirmed in an Instagram comment that they would be stocking the salted caramel flavour from next month.

Hello…

The new vegan bars are part of Lindt’s HELLO range, dubbed as a ‘modern and innovative collection of fun flavoured chocolate bars.’

We’ll definitely be saying hello to their vegan milk chocolate!

Vegan chocolate

Lindt is not the first chocolate brand to create a vegan range, and we’re sure they won’t be the last. In 2019, Galaxy launched a variety of flavoured chocolate bars which were so successful that they expanded the range even further in September.

Now the range includes five vegan flavours: Orange, Hazelnut, Sea Salt Caramel, Cookie and Mint. Additionally, Galaxy just released a vegan hot chocolate powder that just requires hot water! We are truly being spoilt!

Cadburys have also been rumoured to be working on a vegan milk chocolate range. While this is still unconfirmed, the brand has just launched accidentally vegan Bournville fingers. We’ll take that for now, Cadburys!

Christmas advertising campaign

According to Vegconomist, Lindt is planning to launch a huge advertising campaign to promote the new products before Christmas.

With the new bars sold out already, we’re sure the campaign will be a huge hit and lead Lindt towards dizzying success. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!

You can buy the new Lindt chocolate from Conscious Candy Co for £3.99 per bar when they come back in stock.
