Aldi’s latest vegan offerings include Smoked No Salmon Slices, Plant Menu Corn Dogs, as well as breakfast pastries and Cornetto-inspired ice creams
Aldi is taking Veganuary more seriously than ever.
The budget supermarket has launched its biggest-ever vegan range to date, with prices starting at just £1.89. Fan favourites that disappeared from the shelves will also be making a much-welcomed return.
It comes as the retailer predicts a whopping 40 per cent sales uplift on its Plant Menu line compared to last year – despite reports that appetite for plant-based products has plummeted.
Customers will now be able to choose from a slew of ‘delicious’ meat-free options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including Plant Menu Corn Dogs (£1.99 for a box of two) and No Chicken Pieces (£2.49).

For those wanting ‘tasty oriental flavours’ the new Vegetable Fritters (£1.99) are now on offer in two varieties: Vegetable Tempura Fritters with a Black Rice Vinegar Dip and Sweetcorn Fritters with a Sweet Chilli Dip.
Plant Menu Veggie Bites (£1.99, 160g), Smoked No Salmon Slices (£2.99, 100g), Plant Menu Mushroom Bolognese and Plant Menu Coronation Chickpea Curry (£2.39, 380g) have also hit the shelves.
For breakfast, Aldi is bringing back its viral Plant Menu Croissants and Pain-au-Chocolate (£1.89) as well as the Cornetto-inspired, Strawberries & Cream and Hazelnut & Praline Vegan Ice Cream Cones (£1.99, 4 pack).
‘Delicious options’
“For those looking to add to their vegan repertoire this Veganuary, Aldi has got shoppers covered as it launches exciting, never-seen-before additions to its Plant Menu range,” the supermarket said in an online statement.
“With delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and with some options already in stores now, those opting for a vegan diet this January will certainly be hap-pea!”
The new Plant Menu range is available in stores nationwide now.
