Pret A Manger has launched two new vegan options just in time for Veganuary, after partnering with plant-based cheese brand Violife

Pret A Manger has partnered with vegan cheese brand Violife as part of the chain’s 2023 menu.

The brand has launched two new plant-based options in select stores across the UK from January 11 – both using Volife’s dairy-free cheese.

Customers will be able to pick up a Spicy No’duja Toasted Focaccia – featuring mushroom, red pesto, red pepper, fresh basil, and Violife’s Smoky Cheddar Slices in a rosemary focaccia. 

Pret is also launching a Plant-Based Ploughman’s Baguette, boasting Violife’s Smoky Cheddar Slices with spicy chipotle ketchup, pickle chunky, roasted tomatoes, red onion and salad.

‘Delicious tastes and textures’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Violife’s Simon Lawrence said: “We’re excited to announce that Pret A Manger’s new 2023 menu will include Violife’s vegan alternatives to cheese in two new vegan products. 

“100 percent plant-based, the tasty Violife Smoky Cheddar Slices mean Pret stores will have more options for all dietary requirements when on the go or grabbing a bite to eat with friends, whilst enjoying the delicious tastes and textures they expect from Pret’s range.”
