Greggs is adding a new vegan product to its vast range of plant-based offerings.
The bakery giant says its latest cruelty-free option is ‘sure to tempt vegans, veggies and meat eaters alike’.
The vegan tandoori chicken flatbread will join the chain’s lunchtime menu, as part of a new line of sandwiches.

The vegan sandwich features ‘delicious’ tandoori chicken-free pieces, cucumber, salad with a dollop of vegan tandoori mayonnaise and mango chutney.
It will launch in selected stores across the UK on May 25 as part of the cold sandwich deal, priced at £3.60.
Customers may also be able to order the meat-free sandwich online, via the Just Eat delivery website and app.

Vegan options at Greggs
Following on from the roaring success of its vegan sausage roll, Greggs has continued to expand its plant-based range.
Earlier this year, the high-street chain released four new vegan products to mark the start of Veganuary: an online initiative encouraging people to ditch animal products for a whole month.
The new items included Vegan Southern Fried Chicken-Free Baguette and Vegan Chicken-Free Goujons, as well as A Warm Winter Vegetable Soup, and a Vegan Chicken-Free Cajun Roll.
Last month, it also launched its Vegan Mexican Chicken-free Bake nationwide. And, its beloved Vegan Sausage, Bean and ‘Cheese’ Melt returned to stores after a brief hiatus.
