Pie connoisseurs Clive’s Purely Plants are renowned for their great tasty vegan pies and quiches. Now, the brand has been awarded ‘best vegan pie’ in the Vegan Food & Living’s Product Awards 2023.
Our panel of expert judges ranked Clive’s Organic Creamy Mushroom Puff Pie as the best-tasting pie thanks to its delicious filling and flaky golden pastry.
The judges were impressed by how generously filled the pies were and were blown away by the deep umami flavour from the mushrooms.
One judge said: “The flavour was amazing! Rather than it being a bland, homogenous mushroom flavour, you could really taste the different mushrooms used and they felt really fresh.”
Another said: “[I was] Very impressed with the strength of flavour that Clive’s have managed to pack into the pie.”
