Launching on September 20, the new dishes launch exclusively on allplants’ website. They retail at £7.50 for a single serve and £10.95 for a double serve and include:

  • Double Green Orecchiette: Orecchiette pasta tossed through a sauce of cashews, spinach, fresh basil, lemon and parsley, topped with hazelnuts. Fresh basil was found in development to be essential for flavouring this dish and was utilised root-to-tip being completely zero-waste.
  • West African Peanut Stew: Ama’s take on a West African Peanut Stew, featuring scotch bonnet peppers – renowned for its punchy kick.
  • Smoked Aubergine and Walnut Ragu: Roasted aubergine with walnuts tossed over gemelli pasta and finished with parsley oil.
  • Chimichurri Portobello Mushroom Bowl: Roasted portobello and button mushrooms, coated in chimichurri sauce and paired with a cayenne and paprika smash and coriander rice.

‘Inspired millions’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Ama said she was ‘thrilled’ with the collaboration.

“I’ve always wanted to find a way to share my recipes with my community through more than just my cookbooks,” she added.

“So, being able to work with allplants on this collection has been a dream. We both want to prove that plant-led food is exciting in every way – it’s delicious, packed with flavour, and full of so much goodness!”

allplants Founder Jonathan Petrides also hailed the partnership.

“Ama’s inspired millions with her recipes,” he said. “From the first meeting we knew that she and allplants would be the perfect fit, due to our shared passion for delicious food and celebrating the power of plants.

“We can’t wait to serve up all of the incredible new flavours Ama is bringing to the allplants menu.”
