Biscuit brand Lotus has launched a delicious new cream-filled version of its popular cinnamon cookies.

We Brits love nothing more than a cup of tea and a biscuit, so the news that popular biscuit brand Lotus has launched a new version of its much-loved cookies is sure to delight!

The cookies launched in Belgium last week and are rolling out to France and the UK this week at Tesco with further retailers to follow at a later date.

In the brand’s 2019 annual report, it was stated that the company was “was working hard on product innovation” and there was a lot of excitement surrounding “the launch of our new Lotus Biscoff cookie”.

The new Biscoff sandwich cookies are priced at £1.39 for a pack of 15 and consist of the brands signature caramelised sandwich biscuits filled with a Biscoff cream filling.

In a statement, Biscoff said: “The new Sandwich biscuit is the ultimate taste sensation that is sure to go down in biscuit history. The Lotus Biscoff Cream has the same unique, unmatched flavour and satisfying crunch of the Lotus Biscoff biscuit, but is circular in shape and packed with a delicious layer of Lotus Biscoff cream.”
