What is dried soya mince?

Dried soya mince, also known as textured vegetable protein (TVP), is a high-protein meat alternative that is made from soy flour.

TVP was one of the first vegan meat alternatives available and is still used thanks to it being low-fat, cheap, and high in protein.

It has a long shelf life which makes reducing food waste easier as you simply use what you need.

Is marmite vegan?

Whether you love it or you hate it, marmite is vegan! Despite its meaty aroma, marmite is made from yeast extract.

Additionally, marmite is high in vitamin B12. Just one 5g serving can provide 25% of your daily recommended b12 intake.
